The Fleet
In September 2005, the WA Yachting Foundation commissioned its brand new fleet of Foundation 36 yachts. This fleet currently consists of 12 identical Foundation 36 yachts that are carefully maintained from the grounds of the Royal Perth Yacht Club.
The design of the new yachts was commissioned by the Foundation with stringent guidelines attached to meet the wide range of activities undertaken by the Foundation yachts. The fleet is licensed under Department of Planning and Infrastructure survey guidelines for charter and based at the Royal Perth Yacht Club.
The Team
The Foundation has a board of six members who meet once a month to oversee the direction of the Foundation. The Executive Officer has assistance in the office from the team listed below, and on the water from the many part time coaches as required. For events we call on the assistance of the Yacht Clubs to help out with their volunteers/members.
